Yes, all those are true, 

but one look at these pups and you will fall head over heels in love.

However, please be aware that dog saliva can still cause allergic reactions in those who suffer from severe allergies. That's a great question! Some dog breeds have genetic issues. Like cavaliers are known to carry DM, this can be a life-threatening disease. However when you breed that Cavalier with a poodle, it becomes something that won't affect them. There are a few breeds that DM has “no effect” on, meaning that while they carry that gene, it would never come to fruition. This goes for several other genetic issues as well. However you have to be careful, this is not the case for all genetics. We guarantee that our dames and sires have all been health tested, this documentation comes with your puppy, upon request. Cavapoos were bred to combine the low-shed coat, gentle nature and intelligence of the poodle with the playful, energetic, loving disposition of the Cavalier. The result is a people-oriented dog that develops strong bonds with their families and wants to be included in all family activities.

Cavapoos love kids both large and small and get along well with other four-leggers in the household. But that pleasant, people-focused personality makes them lousy watch dogs.

Cavapoos have loads of energy. They need daily exercise and lots of mental stimulation like trick training or intelligent toys. Not known for being barkers, they grow bored when left alone too much, resulting in barking and destructive behavior. These dogs LOVE brain games and romping through the yard after kids. In addition, your Cavapoo will need lots of attention from you to remain well-balanced.

These guys are amazing. Much like the Maltipoos they are satisfied being in your lap or running after a squeaky toy. They have that perfect balance between the cavalier and the Maltese personalities with all of the benefits of a poodle. They are highly intelligent and respond well to training. They tend to enjoy water play and swimming, hiking, playing, and lounging around. They are highly versatile with their lifestyle abilities and mesh really well with different activity levels. All the while they will create and bond with every member of the family. They have no issues with creating those bonds with cats or other animals like birds. 

 Often, mixed-breed dogs develop a temperament that balances the qualities of their parent breeds. Shih-Tzu's tend to be highly affectionate and extremely charming but possess a stubborn streak that can make them difficult to train. Poodles, on the other hand, while equally charming with playful and comedic personalities, are highly intelligent dogs who are more eager to please and easier to train. Shih poos, as a result, are often playful, affectionate, and quick-witted little charmers, although they may inherit their Shih-Tzu parent's willfulness. Because of this, they often need a firm but patient guide in training, and might not be the best choice for first-time dog parents.

What Shihpoos may lack in trainability, they more than makeup for in love and affection. They love to play with toys and get along wonderfully with older children, although due to their small size and hair that's easy to grab and pull, they should be closely supervised around small children. While friendly and great at getting along well with other pets, especially if introduced as puppies, older Shihpoos might not love having other dogs around. They often do well as only dogs. Even so, these fluffy pups love being close to their people and don't tolerate being left alone for long periods of time. If work or school takes you away from home for long hours, you may need to consider doggie daycare to keep your Shihpoo happy.

The word lively goes a long way in describing Bichpoo’s personality. These are small dogs with lots of energy. They have a loyal temperament making them excellent watchdogs for a household. These pooches are playful and always ready for a game of fetch or chase with their family.

One of the most notable traits of a Bichpoo is its affectionate nature. They like to be with their family whether it’s snuggling on the sofa or running around in the backyard. These dogs do well in a household with or without children.
